Trends Mergers & Acquisitions
branding + product solution to transform the business inside and out
ASK: Design a branding for a financial advisory and consulting firm. Create its digital presence. Develop an online listing & exchange for public companies. Develop an internal CRM platform to generate and track deals.
CHALLENGE: To build a fully functional online marketplace that converts browsers to leads. The front-end interface should be connected to an easy-to-use CRM backend so that all associates can stay on top of leads and deals.
RESULT: The website “turned the business around” according to Client. Trends Mergers & Acquisitions' internal team was able to administer the listings more efficiently both in the office and on the go, and keep track of the deals assigned to each associate for increased profitability. The website was featured in Emmy Award nominated business TV/Radio program Big Biz Show on 2017.
Trends Mergers & Acquisitions is led by two experts in mergers & acquisitions and advising on micro-cap investment deals. With their reputation they conducted business mainly on word of mouth. In order to remain competitive, Trends needed a meticulous digital presence. Client came to us looking to increase visibility and numbers of leads.
Trends also needed a boost in internal efficiency. Client's existing tools for managing deals and leads were outdated and difficult to use. Client asked LAPIS to develop an online marketplace that lists available public companies for sale/purchase, with fully functioning membership features. Any leads should be able to sign up as a member and browse available deals. The front-end of the online marketplace should be connected to the back-end, so that all member activities are logged to the company CRM database.
↑ Trends led first and foremost with confidence and expertise. Years of expertise and 200+ transacted deals gave them the edge that no other competitor in the space could claim. To differentiate Trends from other financial firms, we employed a bold, contemporary aesthetic that portrayed them as "nothing but ordinary." This stood out especially considering the conservative nature of financial services branding.
↓ The web experience is driven by bold, hard hitting messages. This clearly presented Client's advantage and experience, instantly communicated using key statistics. Efficient delivery was critical, since we knew that customers looked for a partner with knowledge and experience when making a decision.
↑ Client wanted a website that brought in businesses and closed deals. We built a simple, user-friendly online marketplace for public companies that simulated the experience of working with an associate one-on-one. Buyers can browse the public companies after a quick registration and filter results per their needs. Sellers can upload their listing to get immediate access to buyers.
↑ Client wanted to bring renewed energy and interest to corporate financial activities. We developed a unique graphic treatment to illustrate Client's services and capabilities.
↑ Online Exchange & CRM Solution: We built a fully functional online marketplace that converts browsers to leads. Once users join as members, they get access to an exclusive listing of available M&A deals. The site offers robust deal listing that allowed members to browse, filter, share and save the deals they are interested. The website pulls all of the lead information in a customized CRM for the associates to keep track.
